The Foundation provides scholars and researchers with support for projects related to cultural heritage in the built environment and a number of individual, mostly young scholars, have assisted with the Foundation Press's series of publications. The Foundation continues to invite applications by like-minded scholars and researchers interested and passionate about buildings and how they nourish and enrich us.

The Clenshaw Prize

The (John & Peggy) Clenshaw Prize is named for a long standing Director who joined Stedman Blower in 1947 as an articled pupil, retiring in 2005. The Foundation celebrates the value of lifelong learning and the wisdom that comes with six decades of experience.

The Howard Scholarship

The (Jeremy) Howard Scholarship ran between 2005-2010 and supported a travelling exchange between Kingston (UK) and Auckland (NZ) Universities. The fund also supported a number of students at the Bartlett School of Architecture at UCL during their academic research. The fund was named after a student from Auckland University whose life and career at Stedman Blower Architects was tragically cut short by heart cancer in 2003, and whose energy, talent and vitality the fund celebrates. Jeremy's passing in 2003 inspired our Founding Trustee, Damien Blower, to set up the Blower Foundation.
